It was a bit cold for tonight’s club run, it gave me a chance to try out my new running tights, I thought I might felt a bit warmer than when I run with bare legs.
But no it just felt the same.
It was speed training and we had to partner with someone and do a half circuit round the town centre.
I did the second half, it was not too hard on the sprint itself the hard part was getting between my finish and start points.
I had an uphill jog to my start and on a couple of occasions I only just got my breath back before my partner was finishing his sprint.
I had been running faster than normal, but I did not want to go too hard and have to stop too early, on the last time round I pushed a bit harder.
I must have been working hard enough as I found the run back to the club a bit of an effort.
